The VALUE COLLECTION 724-4116 is a single-end, cobalt roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal followed by finish-quality passes in a single tool. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles harder workpiece materials better than standard M2 tooling. The 0.5 inch (1/2 inch) diameter cutter features 4 flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a bright, uncoated finish. A Weldon flat shank provides positive drive engagement in the holder, reducing slip under heavy cuts. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill in vertical mills and machining centers for both roughing and light finishing operations.

This end mill is suited for use on ferrous and harder non-ferrous materials in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining environments.
