Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles tough ferrous and heat-resistant alloys that standard HSS tooling struggles with. The 1/4 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch Weldon flat shank for secure, slip-resistant clamping in milling chucks and end mill holders. A 30-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. This tool ships bright and uncoated, making it straightforward to inspect for wear and resharpen when needed.

This end mill is suited for manual knee mills, CNC vertical machining centers, and benchtop mills used in job shops, maintenance departments, and tool rooms.
