Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it measures 1.125 inches in diameter with a 1.125-inch length of cut and a 3.375-inch overall length. The 6-flute geometry produces a corncob-style cutting action that breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing heat buildup and allowing higher feed rates compared to standard end mills. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This tool is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals working with ferrous and tough alloy materials.

This roughing end mill is suited for roughing passes on vertical mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers where rapid stock removal is the priority before a finish pass.
