The VALUE COLLECTION 724-0071 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat and wear resistance needed when cutting tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials at higher feed rates. The 3/8-inch diameter cutter features 4 flutes with a bright, uncoated finish and a 7/16-inch length of cut. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry into workpiece material without a pre-drilled pilot hole.

This roughing end mill is suited for use in manual knee mills, CNC machining centers, and benchtop milling machines in job shop, maintenance, and light production environments. The 3/8-inch shank fits standard ER collets, end mill holders, and Weldon-style set-screw holders common in most shop setups.
