The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6853 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in metalworking and machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles tough materials including stainless steel, hardened steel, and high-temperature alloys where standard HSS tooling falls short. The 1.5-inch cutting diameter and 6-flute configuration allow heavier chip loads per pass while the TiN coating extends tool life by reducing friction and heat buildup at the cutting edge. This tool is appropriate for milling operations on knee mills, bed mills, and CNC machining centers.

This roughing end mill is suited for roughing passes on ferrous and difficult-to-machine metals in job shop, toolroom, and production environments. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups. The 0.75-inch shank diameter fits R8 collets, standard end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling commonly found on Bridgeport-style and vertical CNC mills. It is not center-cutting, so it cannot be plunged directly into solid material and must be side-loaded or ramped into the cut.
