Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat and wear resistance suited to harder workpiece materials. The cutter measures 1.125 inches in diameter with a 1-inch shank diameter and a 3.5-inch length of cut, providing substantial reach for deep-slot and profile roughing passes. A TiN coating reduces friction and extends tool life under continuous cutting loads. Six flutes distribute chip load evenly, reducing chatter and improving surface finish on roughing cuts. This tool is installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals in manual and CNC milling applications.

This roughing end mill is suited to vertical and horizontal milling machines, machining centers, and manual knee mills.
