The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6715 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool delivers strong heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The 5/16-inch (0.3125-inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8-inch shank and a 3/4-inch length of cut, producing an overall length of 2-1/2 inches. A TiN (titanium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge. Three flutes with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make this end mill well suited for roughing passes where chip clearance and feed rate matter.

This roughing end mill is intended for use in vertical milling machines, knee mills, and CNC machining centers performing roughing operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
