The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6702 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it carries a TiN coating that improves surface hardness and extends tool life under heat. The cutter measures 0.25 inches in diameter with a 3/8-inch shank diameter, a 1.125-inch length of cut, and a 2-15/16-inch overall length. Three flutes with a right-hand cutting and flute direction produce the corncob-style roughing geometry that breaks chips efficiently and reduces cutting forces. Machinists and toolroom operators install this type of end mill on manual knee mills and CNC machining centers alike.

This end mill is suited for roughing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials where fast stock removal is the priority before finishing cuts.
