The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6468 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed for edge profiling and radius milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat and wear resistance needed for interrupted cuts and harder workpieces. The cutter produces a 1/4 inch radius profile on a 1 inch diameter body with 4 right-hand flutes and a right-hand cutting direction. A bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for applications where coating is not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this style of end mill on manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills.
This end mill is suited for edge-breaking, corner rounding, and radius blending on part edges in job shop, production machining, and tool room environments. The 3/4 inch shank diameter provides solid tool holding in standard ER and end mill holders. It is appropriate for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials where cobalt tooling is preferred over standard HSS. The single-end configuration is standard for this profile style and optimizes rigidity during radial cutting passes.
Designed as a standard profile corner rounding end mill compatible with machine tool spindles accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank, including ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon-style holders used on vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before loading or unloading the cutter. Ensure the shank is fully seated and securely clamped in the tool holder to the holder manufacturer's specified engagement depth before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and do not exceed the cutter's rated speed and feed parameters for the workpiece material.
