The VALUE COLLECTION 723-6435 is a single-end corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radiused edges on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool delivers strong heat and wear resistance suited to interrupted cuts and harder materials. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter with a 9/64 inch corner radius, four right-hand helical flutes, and a bright uncoated finish. With a 1/2 inch shank diameter and 3 inch overall length, the 723-6435 mounts in standard end mill holders and is used in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling operations by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is appropriate for edge-breaking, corner profiling, and radius blending operations in job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments. The 9/64 inch radius profile makes it well-suited for parts requiring precise, repeatable radiused transitions on shoulders and edges. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry supports conventional milling setups. It is sold as a single unit and is a common selection for general-purpose milling tasks where cobalt tooling is specified over standard HSS or carbide alternatives.
Designed as a standard corner rounding end mill for use in vertical mills, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills equipped with 1/2 inch end mill holders or collet chucks accepting a 1/2 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and locked out before tool changes. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the drawbar or set screw to the holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the tool for runout using a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Speeds and feeds should be selected based on workpiece material, machine rigidity, and depth of cut per established machining references.
