Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool offers good heat and wear resistance for use on a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It cuts a 1/16-inch radius on a 7/16-inch diameter body, runs a right-hand cutting direction, and carries four flutes for a balance of chip evacuation and surface finish. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose shop work where coating is not required. Machinists and toolroom operators are the primary users.
