It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, 5 flutes, and a 4-inch length of cut, making it suited for deep slotting and profiling passes. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional milling setups. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this type of end mill in vertical mills, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills.
