Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers the heat resistance and edge toughness required for interrupted cuts and heavy chip loads. The cutter measures 0.625 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut, a matching 0.625-inch shank diameter, and an overall length of 2.875 inches. Three flutes with a high helix angle and right-hand cutting direction generate efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface control during roughing passes. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for general-purpose roughing on a vertical or horizontal milling machine, CNC machining center, or manual knee mill. It handles ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a cobalt substrate is preferred over standard HSS for extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures.
