Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool delivers improved heat and wear resistance compared to standard M2 HSS tooling. The 7/16 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1/2 inch shank, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 4-1/8 inch overall length. Four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. The bright uncoated finish is suitable for use with a wide range of cutting fluids.
