Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it offers greater heat and wear resistance than standard M2 HSS tooling. The 1/4 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch shank, and the 1-3/4 inch length of cut gives it reach for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations. At 3-9/16 inches overall length, this is classified as an extra-long series tool, suitable for deep-pocket and extended-reach applications where standard-length end mills fall short.
