The VALUE COLLECTION 722-4048 is a double-end square end mill designed for milling operations in metal and general machining applications. Built from M2 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, this tool delivers improved wear resistance and extended tool life compared to uncoated HSS. The mill measures 15/32 inches (0.4688 inches) in diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and a 4-1/8 inch overall length. It features four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and right-hand cutting and flute direction. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals, it is well suited to general-purpose slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling.

This end mill is suited for light to medium-duty material removal on mills, machining centers, and manual knee mills in job shop and maintenance environments. The double-end design provides two usable cutting ends, extending the service life per tool. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry without pre-drilling.
