The VALUE COLLECTION 722-1059 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in metal fabrication and machine shop environments. Manufactured from M2 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers solid wear resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutter measures 11/16 inch (0.6875 inch) in diameter with a 1-5/16 inch length of cut and a 5/8 inch shank diameter, making it compatible with standard milling machine collets and tool holders. Its 2-flute geometry and centercutting capability allow both peripheral and plunge cutting. Installed and operated by machinists and CNC operators, this tool suits production and maintenance machining alike.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, profile milling, and step milling in light to medium-duty applications. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a regular-length configuration and 3-7/16 inch overall length, it fits standard knee mills, bed mills, and CNC machining centers without requiring extended reach tooling. The TiN finish provides a surface hardness advantage over uncoated HSS tooling, reducing built-up edge in common work materials.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tool for standard milling machine spindles accepting a 5/8 inch shank diameter. Suitable for use in knee mills, bed mills, and CNC machining centers with compatible collets or end mill holders.
End mills should be installed and secured by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer torque and runout specifications for the collet or tool holder in use. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the work material and cutter diameter before engaging the cut. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before tool changes. Do not exceed the length of cut when side milling to avoid deflection and premature tool wear.
