The VALUE COLLECTION 720-4004 is a double-end, four-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in high speed steel (HSS) grade M2. With a 1/8 inch mill diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, it handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright/uncoated finish suits applications where coating is unnecessary or where regrinding is anticipated. At 3-1/16 inches overall length with a 3/8 inch shank diameter, this regular-length tool fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders common in manual mills and CNC machining centers. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary users.
