The VALUE COLLECTION 720-3513 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers consistent cutting performance across a range of machining applications. The 4-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand spiral helix provide efficient chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. With a 0.75-inch mill diameter and a 3-inch length of cut, this long-series tool handles deeper passes without requiring extended-reach tooling. It is installed by machinists and toolroom operators working on manual mills and CNC machining centers.
This end mill is suited for face milling, slot milling, and peripheral milling in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. The long-series length makes it appropriate for applications requiring greater reach into a workpiece or fixture clearance. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is the standard orientation for conventional and climb milling on vertical milling machines. It is not center-cutting, so it is not intended for plunge operations. No coolant-through capability is present, making it best suited for flood coolant or dry cutting setups where internal coolant delivery is not required.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill for use in 3/4-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, or Weldon-style holders on manual vertical mills and CNC machining centers accepting fractional-inch shank tooling.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool change mode engaged before mounting or removing this end mill. Secure the 0.75-inch shank firmly in a properly sized end mill holder or collet to the holder manufacturer's specified torque using appropriate tooling wrenches. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut.
