The VALUE COLLECTION 720-3325 is a single-end square end mill designed for milling flat surfaces, shoulders, slots, and profiles in a wide range of workpiece materials. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it measures 1 inch in diameter with a 4-inch length of cut and a 6.5-inch overall length. The 30-degree helix and four-flute spiral geometry balance chip evacuation with surface finish quality. This is a long-series tool intended for applications requiring extended reach beyond standard-length end mills. It is installed and operated by machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC setup technicians on manual or CNC vertical milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill is suited for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and similar machinable materials. The long-series designation makes it appropriate for deep-pocket milling, tall workpiece features, or setups where additional clearance between the spindle and workpiece is needed. Its 1-inch shank diameter is compatible with standard ER or end mill holders sized for 1-inch straight shanks. The bright uncoated surface is suitable for use with cutting fluids or dry cutting where coating adhesion is not a requirement.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use end mill for standard 1-inch end mill holders and collet chucks on vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers requiring a long-series, four-flute HSS square end mill.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. The tool shank must be fully seated and properly torqued in the holder per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before operation. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Do not exceed the recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and tool diameter as published in standard machining data references.
