Constructed from M2 high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, it measures 0.875 inches in diameter with a 5-inch length of cut and a 7.25-inch overall length. The 37-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in softer metals. This extra-long configuration gives machinists reach for deeper cavities and stepped features that standard-length end mills cannot access.

This end mill is suited for manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills running aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. The extra-long length type makes it a practical choice for mold work, die pockets, and deep-shoulder milling where extended reach is required. It is a single-end tool, so once the cutting end is worn it is replaced rather than flipped.
