The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1135 is a single-end, two-flute square end mill designed for material removal in milling operations on machining centers and manual mills. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it measures 1.5 inches in cutting diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 3.875-inch overall length. The 0.75-inch shank diameter seats securely in standard end mill holders. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action across a range of workpiece materials. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom technicians in production and job-shop environments.
The 720-1135 is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Its right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction follow standard milling conventions. The regular-length geometry and centercutting capability allow plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling passes. It is a practical general-purpose end mill for shops that need a reliable fractional-inch HSS tool without specialty coatings.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials. Fits standard 3/4-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling arbors. Part of the VALUE COLLECTION VCCC-HSS-2 series of fractional-inch high speed steel end mills.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the 0.75-inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged end mill holder and torque the retention screw or collet nut to the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify spindle runout before cutting and confirm the machine spindle rotates right-hand before engaging the workpiece. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow the machine tool manufacturer's recommended feeds and speeds for the workpiece material.
