The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1093 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal and profile milling in metalworking applications. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers consistent performance across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The cutter measures 15/16 inches (0.9375 inches) in diameter with a 1-1/2 inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle on two spiral flutes. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute orientation make this a standard configuration for conventional milling on manual mills and CNC machining centers. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous materials. The regular-length design keeps the tool rigid during side milling, slotting, and profiling passes. The centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry into the workpiece without pre-drilling, adding flexibility in setup. The 3/4 inch shank diameter accommodates standard end mill holders and collet chucks commonly found in both manual and CNC machining environments.
Designed for use with standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and Weldon-style holders on manual knee mills and CNC vertical machining centers. Compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials per manufacturer classification codes P, M, K, and N.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Secure the shank fully into the tool holder to the recommended insertion depth before tightening — never grip on the fluted section. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and cutter diameter before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the tool if damage is observed.
