The VALUE COLLECTION 720-1075 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shops and manufacturing environments. Built from M2 high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, it measures 13/16 inches (0.8125 inches) in diameter with a 1-1/2 inch length of cut and a 3/4 inch shank diameter. The 2-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand spiral helix support efficient chip evacuation, making this tool well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. Machinists, toolroom operators, and CNC setup technicians are the primary users of this style of end mill.
This end mill is rated for use on a range of primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous metals. The regular-length configuration and fractional-inch sizing make it a practical fit for conventional knee mills, manual bridgeports, and CNC machining centers running standard tool holders with 3/4 inch collets or end mill holders. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and Weldon-style holders on standard knee mills and CNC machining centers. Compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials per manufacturer designation codes P, M, K, and N.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician using an appropriate end mill holder or collet chuck sized for the 3/4 inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the tool. Secure the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the holder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Always verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, and apply appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material being machined.
