The VALUE COLLECTION 6RSB1*3/4 is a threaded pipe reducer fitting designed to transition from a 1-inch female pipe thread to a 3/4-inch female pipe thread connection. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this fitting offers strong resistance to corrosion and chemical exposure, making it well suited for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. It carries a 150 psi pressure rating and conforms to Schedule 40 specifications. Both ends use FNPT (female national pipe thread) connections for a standard threaded installation. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors are the typical installers of this type of fitting.
This reducer fitting is used in piping systems where a line size reduction from 1 inch to 3/4 inch is required. It is appropriate for residential, commercial, and light industrial plumbing, process piping, and fluid distribution systems where stainless steel material compatibility and corrosion resistance are required. The FNPT x FNPT configuration allows it to be threaded onto male pipe ends or nipples on both sides. Its 316 stainless steel construction makes it a common choice in marine, chemical, and food-service adjacent piping environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Schedule 40 threaded pipe systems requiring a 1-inch to 3/4-inch FNPT reduction in 316 stainless steel.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters working with threaded stainless steel pipe systems. Shut off and depressurize the affected line completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads prior to assembly, and tighten with a pipe wrench to a snug, leak-free connection without over-stressing the fitting. Work should comply with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC or relevant local standards.
