The VALUE COLLECTION 615-4226 is a 26-piece steel radius gage set used to measure and check concave and convex radii on machined parts, weld profiles, fillets, and formed edges. Each blade is stamped from steel with a satin chrome finish that reduces glare and resists corrosion. The set covers a measurement range of 0.5 mm to 13 mm in 0.5 mm graduation steps, giving technicians a complete set of common radius sizes in a single organized holder. A holder is included for blade storage and field use. Machinists, toolmakers, quality control inspectors, and fabricators rely on radius gages for fast go/no-go profile checks without powered measuring equipment.
This set is suited for use in machine shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance environments where radius conformance must be verified on metal components. Common applications include checking fillet radii on turned or milled parts, inspecting weld toes, verifying bend radii on sheet metal, and confirming tooling profiles. The 0.5 mm graduation spacing covers the most frequently specified radii in standard mechanical drawings. All 26 blade sizes are included: 0.50, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 2.50, 3.00, 3.50, 4.00, 4.50, 5.00, 5.50, 6.00, 6.50, 7.00, 7.50, 8.00, 8.50, 9.00, 9.50, 10.00, 10.50, 11.00, 11.50, 12.00, 12.50, and 13.00 mm.
Designed as a general-purpose radius gage set for use on metal parts where concave or convex radii must be measured or verified against engineering specifications.
Radius gages require no installation. Select the blade closest to the nominal radius and hold it flush against the profile being checked, using a light source behind the blade to detect gaps. Keep blades clean and lightly oiled when stored to prevent surface rust. Do not force blades against sharp edges or use them as pry tools, as this can distort the blade profile and affect measurement accuracy.
