The VALUE COLLECTION 60024 is a heavy-duty steel T-slot bolt designed to secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling to machine tables, jigs, and T-slotted bases found in fabrication and machining environments. Threaded 7/8-9 UNC with a 2-inch thread length and a 6-inch length under the head, this bolt seats firmly into standard 7/8-inch T-slots. The head measures 1-1/2 inches wide and 9/16 inches tall, providing the bearing surface needed to lock into the slot channel. Manufactured from C-1045 grade steel in an uncoated finish, this bolt is suited for heavy clamping loads and repeatable positioning tasks. Installation is performed by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance trades.
This T-slot bolt is used in industrial machine shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance shops wherever T-slotted tables or fixture plates are in service. Common applications include securing vises, clamps, angle plates, and custom fixturing to mill tables, surface plates, and welding positioners. The 7/8-9 UNC thread is a standard coarse-thread specification widely compatible with matching nuts, clamp straps, and studs used in T-slot clamping kits. The uncoated finish is appropriate for indoor shop environments and can be lightly oiled for corrosion protection during storage.
Designed for use in standard 7/8-inch T-slot channels on machine tables, fixture plates, and T-slotted bases requiring a 7/8-9 UNC bolt. Pair with compatible T-slot nuts, clamp straps, and step blocks rated for the same thread specification.
Slide the T-slot bolt head into the table channel before positioning the workpiece, then thread on the clamp nut or strap from above. Ensure the bolt head is fully seated and oriented correctly in the slot before applying clamping torque. Use calibrated torque tools appropriate for the clamping setup — do not exceed the load rating of the fixturing components. Inspect threads and the bolt head for wear or deformation before each use in critical holding applications.
