The VALUE COLLECTION 600-1026 is a six-piece mechanical outside micrometer set covering a measurement range of 0 to 150 mm in 25 mm increments. Each micrometer features a ratchet stop thimble that applies consistent measuring pressure, reducing operator error and improving repeatability across measurements. The set reads to a graduation of 0.01 mm, making it suitable for precision work in machining, fabrication, and quality inspection environments. Spindles are fixed, non-rotating. The set ships in a fitted wood case that keeps each micrometer protected and organized during storage and transport. Machinists, tool and die makers, metrology technicians, and skilled tradespeople who require precise outside diameter and thickness measurements will find this set appropriate for bench and shop use.
This set is well suited for machine shops, manufacturing floors, and maintenance departments where outside diameter, stock thickness, and part dimension verification are routine tasks. The six individual micrometers cover ranges of 0 to 25 mm, 25 to 50 mm, 50 to 75 mm, 75 to 100 mm, 100 to 125 mm, and 125 to 150 mm, providing full coverage across the range without reconfiguring a single tool. The painted finish on the frames helps resist minor corrosion in typical shop environments. The included wood case keeps the set together and allows for organized transport to and from the work area.
Designed as a general-purpose outside micrometer set for bench, shop, and inspection use where 0 to 150 mm outside measurement coverage is required.
Micrometers are precision instruments and should be handled and stored carefully to maintain calibration. Before use, clean the measuring faces and verify zero calibration using the included reference standards or appropriate gauge blocks. Do not overtighten the thimble against the workpiece; use the ratchet stop to apply correct and consistent measuring pressure. Periodic recalibration against traceable standards is recommended per shop quality procedures.
