The VALUE COLLECTION 57121061 is a galvanized steel end stack boot designed for ducted HVAC air distribution systems. This fitting connects round duct to a floor, wall, or ceiling register at the terminal end of a duct run. It features a 6 inch inside diameter inlet and a 10 inch overall width, with a 2.25 inch length on the boot face. Standard gauge galvanized steel construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for residential and light commercial forced-air applications. HVAC installers and sheet metal contractors use this fitting as a standard supply-side termination point where a round trunk line transitions to a flat register opening.
This end stack boot is suited for residential forced-air heating and cooling systems, including gas furnace and air handler installations where round duct transitions to a flat floor or wall register. The 6 inch inside diameter accommodates standard 6 inch round branch duct. The fitting ships as a single unit and is ready to install with conventional sheet metal screws and HVAC foil tape. It fits the standard rough-in opening associated with a 10 inch wide boot face, making it compatible with common register and grille sizes used in residential construction.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for residential and light commercial forced-air duct systems using 6 inch round branch duct with a 10 inch wide register opening.
This fitting is installed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified sheet metal contractors. Power down the air handler or furnace and close the system before modifying ductwork. Secure the boot to the branch duct and to the subfloor or wall framing using sheet metal screws and seal all joints with listed HVAC foil tape or mastic in accordance with local mechanical codes. Follow SMACNA duct construction standards and applicable local codes for duct support and sealing requirements.
