The VALUE COLLECTION 5016MPF is a flat head Phillips machine screw designed for general-purpose fastening in metal assemblies, fixtures, and equipment. It features a 1/2-13 unified coarse thread and measures 1 inch overall length. The flat head profile sits flush with the mating surface when countersunk, making it a standard choice for applications where a low-profile or recessed finish is required. Manufactured from steel with a zinc finish, the screw meets ASME B18.6.3 and SAE J82 standards. It is used across a wide range of trade and industrial applications by machinists, HVAC technicians, electricians, and maintenance professionals.
This screw is suited for light to medium-duty fastening in metal panels, electrical enclosures, HVAC equipment housings, and general mechanical assemblies. The 1/2-13 coarse thread engages quickly and provides strong clamping force in steel and other ferrous materials. The zinc finish provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces.
Designed as a standard 1/2-13 coarse thread machine screw for use in pre-tapped holes or with matching nuts in general mechanical and trade assemblies.
Install using a Phillips screwdriver or compatible power driver bit. Ensure the mating hole is properly tapped to 1/2-13 UNC before installation. For countersunk flat head applications, verify the countersink angle matches the screw head geometry before driving to full depth. De-energize and lock out electrical equipment before performing any fastener work inside live enclosures, in accordance with applicable NFPA 70E guidelines.
