The VALUE COLLECTION 420-015 is a Schedule 40 PVC pipe cross fitting designed for four-way branch connections in pressurized and gravity-flow piping systems. All four ports use slip (socket) end connections, accepting standard PVC pipe and solvent-cement joints. At 1-1/2 inches nominal pipe size, this fitting is commonly used in residential and light commercial plumbing, irrigation distribution, and pool and spa plumbing layouts. Weighing 1.42 pounds, it is a solid, full-body PVC cross suitable for installations where flow must be split or joined at a single junction point. Installation is handled by licensed plumbers or qualified pipe fitters following standard solvent-welding practices.
This fitting is suited for new construction and retrofit applications in residential and commercial settings. Typical uses include main supply branch distribution, irrigation manifold systems, and pool equipment plumbing where a single inline point must connect to three additional run directions. Schedule 40 wall thickness meets standard pressure ratings for cold and warm water service. The all-slip configuration is compatible with standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe cut to length and deburred before cementing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC piping systems in residential plumbing, irrigation, and pool and spa applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipe fitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the water supply before cutting into any existing line. Clean and deburr all pipe ends, apply PVC primer followed by solvent cement rated for Schedule 40 PVC, and allow full cure time before restoring system pressure. Do not use this fitting on systems carrying compressed air, gas, or fluids outside the rated temperature and pressure range of Schedule 40 PVC.
