It features a Slip x Slip x Female Iron Pipe Thread (FIPT) end connection configuration, allowing two solvent-weld slip connections on the run ends and one threaded female connection on the branch outlet. PVC Schedule 40 construction delivers reliable corrosion resistance and adequate pressure ratings for typical residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters as a standard branch connection in cold- and ambient-temperature water lines.
