The VALUE COLLECTION 401-210 is a Schedule 40 PVC reducing tee designed for pressure and drain piping systems where a branch line steps down from the main run. The fitting measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4 inches with all-slip end connections, making it compatible with standard solvent-weld installation methods. Weighing 0.24 pounds, it is lightweight and easy to handle in tight spaces. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial applications where branch connections require a reduction in pipe diameter on the outlet port.
This reducing tee is suited for cold and hot water supply lines, irrigation systems, and general-purpose fluid handling where PVC Schedule 40 pipe is specified. The all-slip connection style accommodates standard PVC solvent cement joints on all three ports. It is a practical choice for retrofit and new construction work where a 3/4-inch branch must be tapped off a 1-1/2-inch main run.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Schedule 40 PVC piping systems using 1-1/2-inch main run pipe with a 3/4-inch branch outlet.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into existing pipe. Use a compatible Schedule 40 PVC solvent cement and primer on all slip connections, following the cement manufacturer's cure time before restoring pressure. Do not use this fitting on systems outside the pressure and temperature ratings of Schedule 40 PVC.
