The VALUE COLLECTION 38413 is a zinc-plated steel concrete wedge anchor designed for secure fastening into concrete substrates. At 1/2 inch in diameter and 5-1/2 inches in overall length, it delivers a 3-3/4 inch threaded engagement zone. The hex head drive type allows installation with standard wrenches or impact tools. Manufactured from 1018 steel with a zinc finish for corrosion resistance, this anchor is suited for structural and non-structural anchoring applications in poured concrete. It ships with a compatible nut and washer. Licensed tradespeople and experienced contractors install this type of fastener in commercial and residential construction settings.
Concrete wedge anchors in this size class are commonly used to secure equipment bases, structural steel, conduit straps, beam hangers, electrical panels, HVAC curbs, and mechanical supports directly to concrete floors, walls, and ceilings. The 1/2 inch diameter provides load capacity appropriate for medium-duty anchoring tasks. Each package contains 5 anchors, each supplied with the required nut and washer. This pack quantity suits service vehicles and job-site supply kits where moderate quantities per SKU are practical.
Designed for use in solid poured concrete. Suitable for anchoring mechanical, electrical, and structural components where a 1/2 inch wedge anchor meets the load and embedment requirements of the application.
Concrete wedge anchors are installed by licensed contractors and tradespeople following applicable building codes, including IBC and AISC anchor design guidelines. Drill the correct diameter hole to the required embedment depth, clear debris from the hole thoroughly before setting the anchor, and torque the nut to the value specified by the anchor manufacturer for the given embedment depth and base material. Never install wedge anchors in cracked concrete, grout-filled block, or hollow masonry without engineering review and appropriate anchor selection.
