The VALUE COLLECTION 375-1852 is a right-hand carbide-tipped boring bar designed for internal turning and bore finishing operations on metal workpieces. Built with a C2 carbide tip, it delivers reliable wear resistance and cutting performance in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bar accepts a 1-inch shank diameter and reaches a minimum bore diameter of 1.25 inches, making it suitable for mid-range bore sizing work. At 7.75 inches overall length with a maximum bore depth of 5.75 inches, it provides solid reach for typical lathe setups. Machinists and toolroom operators use this bar for production and job-shop applications.
This boring bar is suited for use on manual and CNC lathes where right-hand cutting direction is required. Its 1-inch shank fits standard boring bar holders and tool blocks used in both production and repair machining environments. The C2 carbide grade is appropriate for general-purpose turning of cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and similar workpiece materials at moderate cutting speeds. It is a single-piece unit packaged individually and sold in a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed for use with standard boring bar holders and tool blocks that accept a 1-inch round shank on manual and CNC lathes requiring right-hand cutting direction.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Secure the shank firmly in the boring bar holder to the full recommended clamping length to minimize deflection during cutting. Power down and lock out the lathe spindle before mounting or removing the bar. Verify that the cutting tip is set to the correct center height before taking a cut.
