This cutoff blade is used in metal turning operations on manual engine lathes and CNC turning centers. Designed as a standard P8N-profile parallel cutoff blade for use with compatible cutoff toolholders on manual engine lathes and CNC turning centers. Verify toolholder blade pocket dimensions against the 5/32-inch width, 1-1/8-inch height, and 6-1/2-inch length before installation.
Cutoff blades are installed and replaced by machinists. Power down and de-energize the lathe or turning center before changing the blade. Secure the blade fully within the toolholder pocket and tighten all clamping hardware before resuming operation. Inspect the blade for chips or cracks before each use and do not use a damaged blade.
