The VALUE COLLECTION 35816 is a 10-32 x 0.25 inch pan head Phillips machine screw designed for general-purpose fastening in metal assemblies, enclosures, and equipment. Manufactured from Grade 2 steel with a zinc plating finish, it resists corrosion in standard indoor environments. The pan head profile provides a low-profile bearing surface that distributes clamping load evenly across thin materials. The unified fine thread (UNF) 10-32 designation ensures broad fitment with standard tapped holes and threaded inserts found throughout electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Length is measured under the head. These screws are installed by technicians and assemblers across multiple trades wherever a standard 10-32 fastener is required.
This screw is suited for light-to-medium duty fastening applications in residential and commercial equipment. Common use cases include securing control boards, panel covers, junction box lids, fan guards, and equipment enclosures. The Phillips drive is compatible with standard Phillips screwdrivers and power drivers. The zinc plating provides adequate corrosion resistance for interior or sheltered installations. These are sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces.
Designed as a standard 10-32 UNF pan head machine screw suitable for use in any application requiring a 10-32 threaded fastener with a 0.25 inch grip length under the head.
Install using a properly sized Phillips screwdriver or power driver to avoid cam-out and drive damage. De-energize all electrical equipment and follow applicable NFPA 70 (NEC) or equipment manufacturer lockout/tagout procedures before accessing internal components. Do not overtighten into soft or thin materials, as pan head screws in fine-thread applications can strip tapped holes if excessive torque is applied. Inspect mating threads before installation to confirm thread condition and size match.
