The VALUE COLLECTION 354-0312-01 is a 10-24 x 3/4-inch flat socket cap screw designed for applications requiring a flush or countersunk fastener profile. Manufactured from alloy steel with a black oxide finish, this screw offers corrosion resistance and reduced light glare in finished assemblies. The 82-degree flat head seats flush with the mating surface when installed in a properly countersunk hole. Drive engagement is handled by a Torx Plus T25 socket, which provides superior torque transfer and reduced cam-out compared to hex drive alternatives. This fastener is fully threaded along its entire length, conforming to UNC thread standards and manufactured to ASME/ANSI B18.3 and ASTM F835 specifications.
This screw is suited for mechanical assemblies, industrial equipment, and structural applications where a low-profile fastener head is required. Its black oxide finish makes it a common choice in assemblies where surface appearance and minimal protrusion are priorities, including enclosures, brackets, fixtures, and machine components. The fully threaded shank is appropriate for use in through-hole applications with a nut or in blind holes where full thread engagement along the fastener length is needed. Installation is performed by machinists, millwrights, and general maintenance trades using a T25 Torx Plus driver or bit.
Designed as a standard UNC 10-24 flat socket cap screw for use in any application requiring an 82-degree countersunk hole with a Torx Plus T25 drive fastener per ASME/ANSI B18.3.
Installation requires a countersunk hole machined to an 82-degree included angle to achieve proper head seating. Use a calibrated torque driver with a T25 Torx Plus bit and apply torque per the assembly specification for the mating material and fastener grade. De-energize and lock out any equipment before performing fastener replacement or maintenance. Avoid over-torquing, which can strip threads or crack the base material in softer substrates.
