The VALUE COLLECTION 3443000 is a taper bolt concrete anchor designed for secure fastening into concrete, masonry, and similar base materials. The anchor measures 5/8 inches in diameter with an overall length of 7 inches and requires a minimum embedment depth of 2-7/8 inches for rated holding performance. Constructed from Grade 5 zinc-plated steel, it resists corrosion in typical indoor and light-duty outdoor applications. The hex head and hex drive configuration allows installation with standard hex wrenches or sockets, making it straightforward for contractors and tradespeople working on structural or mechanical attachment tasks in concrete substrates.
This taper bolt concrete anchor is suited for residential and light commercial construction applications where anchoring structural components, equipment bases, framing brackets, or mechanical supports to concrete is required. The zinc plating provides a serviceable level of corrosion resistance for interior installations and sheltered exterior environments. It is typically installed by general contractors, structural ironworkers, HVAC mechanics, electricians, and plumbers securing equipment pads, conduit supports, or mechanical frames to concrete slabs and walls.
Designed as a standard taper bolt concrete anchor for use in poured concrete and masonry base materials where a 5/8 inch diameter anchor is specified.
Installation is performed by drilling a correctly sized hole in the concrete substrate, clearing debris, and driving the anchor to the required embedment depth before tightening. Shut off and lock out any adjacent electrical, mechanical, or fluid systems before anchoring equipment bases or supports. Follow applicable building codes and anchor manufacturer load tables when selecting embedment depth and spacing for structural connections. Do not install in cracked or deteriorated concrete without engineering evaluation.
