The VALUE COLLECTION 34123 is an open end blind rivet designed for fast, single-side fastening in sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, electrical enclosures, and light structural assemblies. It features a dome head profile, an aluminum body with an aluminum mandrel, and carries a Size 610 designation. The body diameter measures 3/16 inches and the grip range spans 0.501 to 0.625 inches, making it suited for material stacks in that thickness range. Tensile strength is rated at 320 pounds and shear strength at 260 pounds. This fastener meets IFI 114 Grade 11 standards and is manufactured from 5052 aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance in moisture-prone environments.
This rivet is commonly used in residential and light commercial applications including HVAC duct fabrication, equipment enclosures, electrical panels, gutters, and general sheet metal work. The open end design allows the mandrel to pull through completely, making installation fast with a standard hand or pneumatic rivet tool. The bright finish provides a clean appearance for exposed assemblies. Each package contains 100 rivets, suitable for production runs or service inventory. The Size 610 designation corresponds to a No. 11 wire gauge drill size for hole preparation.
Designed as a standard Size 610 open end blind rivet for use in any application requiring a 3/16-inch body diameter aluminum rivet with a grip range of 0.501 to 0.625 inches. Compatible with standard hand, pneumatic, and battery-powered rivet tools accepting 3/16-inch mandrels.
Installation is performed by sheet metal workers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and general contractors using a standard rivet gun sized for 3/16-inch fasteners. Drill or punch the hole to a diameter between 0.192 and 0.198 inches using a No. 11 wire gauge bit before setting the rivet. Ensure materials are clamped or held firmly to prevent gapping during pull. Do not reuse a rivet once the mandrel has been pulled and the stem has snapped.
