The VALUE COLLECTION 331-2110 is a shell reamer arbor designed to mount and drive shell reamers in machining and metalworking operations. It features a 4MT Morse taper shank for secure, self-centering engagement in compatible machine spindles, and an overall length of 12 inches. The arbor accepts shell reamers ranging from 1-11/16 inches to 2 inches in diameter, with a maximum arbor diameter of 1 inch. This type of tooling is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians working on drill presses, lathes, or milling machines where precision bore finishing is required.
This arbor is suited for production and toolroom environments where shell reamers must be held rigidly and concentrically during finishing passes. The 4MT shank fits machine spindles with a standard Number 4 Morse taper socket. The 12-inch overall length accommodates setups where reach or clearance requires additional extension between the spindle and the workpiece. It is appropriate for use in both manual and CNC-compatible machines that accept Morse taper tooling.
Designed for use with shell reamers in the 1-11/16 inch to 2 inch diameter range on machines equipped with a Number 4 Morse taper spindle socket.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the arbor from the spindle. Ensure the Morse taper surfaces on both the arbor and the spindle socket are clean and free of chips, oil, or burrs before seating. Use a proper drift and mallet to eject the arbor from the spindle — never pry against the tooling or workpiece.
