The VALUE COLLECTION 331-2102 is a No. 4 shell reamer arbor designed to mount shell reamers to a 2MT (No. 2 Morse Taper) machine spindle. The arbor accepts shell reamers ranging from 21/32 inches to 25/32 inches in diameter and measures 9 inches overall length. It serves as the interface between the reamer and the machine, transmitting torque and maintaining concentricity during the reaming operation. Machinists and tool-room technicians use this arbor in drill presses, milling machines, and lathes equipped with a No. 2 Morse Taper spindle socket.
This arbor is suited for light to mid-range reaming operations in production and tool-room environments. It is used wherever a shell reamer must be mounted securely to a No. 2 Morse Taper spindle for sizing or finishing bored holes in the 21/32 to 25/32 inch diameter range. Typical applications include precision hole finishing in metal fabrication, maintenance shops, and general machining operations requiring close-tolerance hole sizing.
Designed for use with No. 4 shell reamers having a reamer diameter range of 21/32 to 25/32 inches, mounted in machines with a No. 2 Morse Taper spindle socket.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Before mounting the arbor, power down and lock out the machine spindle per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the Morse Taper shank fully into the spindle socket and secure it with the drawbar or drift where applicable. Verify shell reamer seating and fastening on the arbor pilot before starting the machine.
