The VALUE COLLECTION 33026 is a single-end roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal and finishing passes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool handles heat and wear better than standard M2 HSS, making it well-suited for harder steels and stainless. The 3/4 inch cutting diameter and 45-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces across a wide range of milling applications. At 3-7/8 inches overall length with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, it fits standard toolholders and collets sized for 3/4 inch straight shanks. Machinists and tool-and-die shops use this style of end mill for roughing slots, pockets, and contours where surface finish and material removal rate both matter.
This end mill is appropriate for use on vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills where a 3/4 inch shank is required. The square end geometry makes it a direct choice for flat-bottom pockets, shoulders, and stepped features. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional and climb milling setups. The bright uncoated finish is suited to applications where lubrication is readily available and coating buildup is not a concern, particularly with ferrous materials at moderate cutting speeds.
Designed as a standard single-end roughing finishing end mill with a 3/4 inch straight shank, compatible with any toolholder or collet chuck rated for 3/4 inch shank diameter on vertical mills, horizontal mills, or CNC machining centers.
Installation and tooling changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped. The shank should be cleaned of chips and coolant residue before seating in the collet or holder to ensure concentricity and minimize runout. Tighten the toolholder to the torque specification provided by the holder manufacturer. Verify tool projection and runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts.
