The VALUE COLLECTION 320-9001 is a 20-piece square end mill set designed for milling, slotting, and profiling operations on a wide range of materials. Each cutter is made from M2 high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, giving machinists a general-purpose tool suitable for cutting aluminum, mild steel, plastics, and similar workpiece materials. The set spans diameters from 3/16 inch to 3/4 inch, covering the most common sizes encountered in job shop and production environments. All cutters are double-ended, which extends useful tool life before replacement is needed. The set ships in a fitted wood case that keeps cutters organized and protected at the machine or in the toolroom.
This set is intended for use in vertical milling machines, knee mills, CNC machining centers, and drill press setups where end mill tooling is required. The regular-length geometry suits standard reach applications in both manual and CNC contexts. Machinists, toolroom operators, and maintenance technicians working in metalworking shops, manufacturing facilities, and industrial maintenance environments will find this set a practical addition to general tooling inventory. The wood storage case makes it well suited for toolroom issue or bench-side storage.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling machine spindles that accept straight-shank end mills in the 3/16 inch to 3/4 inch diameter range.
End mills are installed by a machinist or toolroom technician using the appropriate collet, end mill holder, or Weldon-style side-lock holder matched to each cutter diameter. Ensure the spindle and machine are fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and tighten to the machine or holder manufacturer torque specification. Inspect each cutter for chips or cracks before use, and use a suitable cutting fluid to maximize tool life and surface finish.
