The VALUE COLLECTION 315060006 is a TIG torch collet sized at 1/16 inch, designed to hold tungsten electrodes securely within the torch body during gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) operations. The collet is the clamping component that grips the tungsten and maintains proper alignment with the collet body and back cap assembly. Correct collet sizing is critical for arc stability and electrode retention. This collet meets industry standard No. 10N23 and fits a 0.0625 inch (1/16 inch) tungsten diameter. It weighs approximately 0.1 pounds and is sold individually.
This collet is suited for use with industry-standard TIG torch setups in light-gauge fabrication, pipe welding, and precision weld applications. It is compatible with torch models 17, 18, and 26, which are among the most widely used air-cooled and water-cooled TIG torch configurations in professional welding shops and field service environments. Welders and fabricators working with 1/16 inch tungsten on thin materials or low-amperage applications will find this a direct-fit consumable replacement.
Compatible with TIG torch models 17, 18, and 26. Meets industry standard No. 10N23 for 1/16 inch collet fitment.
TIG torch collets are installed and replaced by qualified welders or welding equipment technicians. Before replacing the collet, disconnect the torch from the welder and ensure the machine is powered off and the gas supply is shut off. Unthread the back cap, remove the tungsten, and unscrew the collet body to access and replace the collet. Use the correct collet size to match the tungsten diameter in use — mismatched sizes will cause arc instability and electrode slippage.
