The VALUE COLLECTION 30615 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) mill diameter and a 5/8 inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for slots, pockets, profiling, and peripheral milling tasks. The TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-speed and dry cutting applications. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance suited to demanding production environments. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals specify this geometry for tight-tolerance work on CNC mills and manual vertical mills.
This end mill is suited for use in light to medium material removal operations in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining environments. The 3/16 inch straight shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders used on vertical machining centers and knee mills. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard configurations compatible with conventional CNC milling setups. The single-end design and standard length classification make it a straightforward drop-in for general-purpose milling programs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC vertical machining centers and manual knee mills accepting a 3/16 inch straight-shank end mill in a collet or end mill holder.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is powered down and locked out before inserting or removing any tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the collet manufacturer's specification using the appropriate spanner wrenches. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and verify chip load and speed parameters against material-specific cutting data before operation.
