The VALUE COLLECTION 2X1.NB is a malleable iron pipe bushing designed to reduce a 2-inch female threaded pipe connection down to a 1-inch male threaded fitting. This Class 150 galvanized bushing handles liquid and gas service up to 300 psi and steam service up to 150 psi. The malleable iron construction provides the ductility and impact resistance needed in mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, and process piping environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC mechanics install this type of bushing when transitioning between pipe sizes within a threaded iron pipe system.

This bushing is suited for residential and light commercial gas distribution piping, hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, and general liquid service applications where threaded malleable iron fittings are specified. It is a standard hex bushing style, threaded on both the male and female ends, and installs inline wherever a 2-inch to 1-inch reduction is required in a Class 150 threaded iron pipe assembly.

Installation Notes
