The VALUE COLLECTION 25921260 is a 90-degree galvanized steel duct register boot designed for transitioning from round duct to a rectangular floor, wall, or ceiling register opening. This fitting connects round branch duct to a standard register or grille and redirects airflow at a right angle to suit typical residential and light commercial duct layouts. Constructed from galvanized steel to standard gage, it offers corrosion resistance suitable for conditioned-air supply systems. The 2.25-inch inside diameter inlet and 12-inch overall length make it a direct-fit component for small-diameter branch runs. HVAC installers use this boot during new construction and retrofit duct work.
This register boot is suited for residential forced-air heating and cooling systems where small-diameter round branch ducts terminate at floor, baseboard, or wall registers. The 90-degree geometry allows the duct run to change direction close to the register opening, keeping the installation compact in tight joist and stud cavities. At 12 inches in length, 6.75 inches in width, and 8 inches in height, the fitting accommodates standard rough-in dimensions for small register openings in residential duct systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for residential and light commercial forced-air duct systems using 2.25-inch inside diameter round branch duct terminating at a standard rectangular register opening.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified sheet-metal mechanic in accordance with local mechanical codes and SMACNA duct construction standards. Shut down the air-handling unit and confirm the system is de-energized before cutting into or modifying existing ductwork. Seal all connections with UL-listed duct mastic or metal-backed tape to minimize air leakage. Secure the boot to the register opening and surrounding framing before restoring system operation.
