The VALUE COLLECTION 230-4395 is a 5C emergency collet machined from steel, designed for use on lathes and other spindle-driven equipment that accept the 5C collet standard. Emergency collets are supplied with an unfinished or undersized bore so the operator can bore and finish the interior to a custom diameter on the machine, achieving precise concentricity for specialized or non-standard workholding. This collet features a 1/16 inch pilot hole, an internal thread size of 1.041 inches at 24 threads per inch, and an external thread size of 1.242 inches at 20 threads per inch. Total indicated runout (TIR) is 0.00315 inches. It is installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC setup specialists.
