The VALUE COLLECTION -22693-3 is a solid carbide abrasive bur in an inverted cone head shape, conforming to industry specification SN-2. Designed for material removal, deburring, and surface finishing in tight or angled workspaces, this bur features a 3/8-inch cutting diameter and a 3/8-inch length of cut. The 1/4-inch shank diameter fits standard rotary tool and die grinder collets. The uncoated solid carbide head delivers consistent cutting performance across a range of materials including steel, cast iron, aluminum, and plastics. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and fabricators are the primary users of this type of bur.
This inverted cone carbide bur is suited for chamfering, undercutting, and countersinking operations where access is limited or angular geometry is required. It is commonly used in metalworking, mold and die finishing, weld cleanup, and precision deburring applications in both shop and field environments. The 1/4-inch shank makes it compatible with standard die grinders and rotary tools used across manufacturing and fabrication trades.
Designed as an SN-2 specification inverted cone carbide bur for use with rotary tools and die grinders accepting a 1/4-inch shank collet.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or fabricators familiar with rotary cutting tools. Ensure the tool or die grinder is fully powered off and the collet is secure before mounting or removing the bur. Always operate within the maximum RPM rating of the host tool and wear appropriate eye and face protection during use. Inspect the bur for cracks or chipping before each use and replace if damage is found.
